Hello everyone, it’s been a while…
Anyway, I’m here to update you guys about what’s going to happen this weekend. There’s going to be a 2-day swimming competition taking place at the Singapore Sports School. It’s one of the most important school competitions in my swimming career.
I am so looking forward to this competition, after spending months training up for it. I am targeting a 100% PB record for this, at least PBs are worth more than just medals. Below are the events which I will be swimming during the weekend. Also listed below are my current PBs which I’m hoping to break. Those events highlighted in yellow are my individual events.
Day 1: Saturday, 30 Oct 2010
1. 1500m Freestyle (17:55.57)
2. 100m Butterfly (1:04.20)
3. 4 x 100m FR Relay
4. 4 x 100m IM Relay (I’ll be swimming 100 Fly)
Day 2: Sunday, 31 Oct 2010
5. 400m Freestyle (4:27.32)
6. 4 x 50m FR Relay
7. 4 x 50m IM Relay (I’ll be swimming 50m Fly)
8. Mixed 4 x 50m FR Relay
Total: 2350m
Looks intimidating, but it’s not the first time I’ll be going through this.
My coaches believe that I will be able to deliver fantastic results despite the huge number of events that I’ll be swimming. I think I have trained hard enough during the school vacation for this competition.
Okay then, I hope to have a great weekend this week. All the best to those who are also taking part in this competition. Good night, folks!
