Hello again! Glad to be back to update again. Yes, the Year of the Tiger has already begun. I sense this will be the year which calls for lots of change and new things to come.
My last day of school has already ended, just before CNY eve. Perfect timing, however the big exams are coming next week, obviously I hope to end this once and for all and embark on my well-deserved vacation! Meanwhile, I shall be cutting down on training because of the exams and will be back at full speed the week after, just in time to put the icing on the cake for next month’s SNAG.
Talk about my last day of school, I purposely skipped all my revision lectures to get through with my Engineering Design project and yes, IT’S OVER! The deadline has passed, and I’ve submitted all my paperwork. JUST in time before the CNY celebrations kicked in.
So on Saturday, had the usual steamboat for reunion dinner, the house was all lit once again. The sound of the Mahjong tiles rumbled around the house, once again.
So that was it, the clock struck midnight, everyone was cheering and free money again. :) Went to my Uncle’s, played Mahjong with the elders on the first day of the celebrations, and it all went quite well. Not the best of Bingo for me, didn’t win anything. But oh well, the fun was still there. :) There was plenty of food to wallop as well, Mee Rebus, Hokkien Mee, Marble Cake, Pineapple Tarts, Cheesecake and lots more. Received plenty of red packets too!
Most of Day 2 was spent at home, until the following evening, we had steamboat again and my dad’s friend’s place. We also had BBQ, Sukiyaki and Lo Hei, all in one night. :) Boy, that was marvellous.
Yeah, didn’t go anywhere today. Spent half of the afternoon studying at home, exams next week, don’t forget!
I’m sure there’ll still be celebrations to come for the next week or so. Oh well, there goes half of my CNY holiday, thanks to the exams.
Alright then, that’s all I have for tonight. Happy CNY once again. :)
