Hello again, hope you all had a great start to the new year. For me things hadn’t been going swimmingly ever since we went into 2010. For the first four days I’ve been drowning in more bad news than good news.
Got back my term test results last week, not as good as I expected. So I decided to come up with a new year resolution: cut down on my Facebook usage and start studying hard for my exams next month. And it’s going to take place almost immediately after CNY, how depressing indeed.
Secondly, I sprained my left toe after kicking-off with a track start on a lousy plunging board at the pool. So yeah, went to get a rub and some TCM yesterday. The doc wrapped nearly my whole foot with bandages and Chinese medicine, told me not to remove it ‘till tomorrow, so yea a 2-day layoff from training. I still went to attend a swim clinic yesterday morning, anyway. And boy, was it really helpful, tips that we have been waiting for a very long time were given. It was a short session, but I learned some things that I shall never forget. :)
Thirdly, my DFUND2 mini-project circuit is still in a mess, couldn’t find a way through to solving problems with my circuit functions, well neither could the lecturer and I’m less than 48 hours away from the deadline. I checked my circuit over and over again for almost the whole of today, and I see no improvement in the current situation I’m in. Bah, I decided that I should start from scratch and try to wire up the circuit more neatly this time. Sigh, double work! What a excruciating way to start a new year.
I watched Man Utd lose to a vicious Leeds Utd side last night. Such a heartbreaking display from an almost complete first team. I seriously don’t know what’s happening at Man Utd now. Oh well, hope they’ll come back again.
APSC is getting quieter and quieter nowadays, didn’t see a large crowd at the recent Xmas swim as compared to the previous years. Where’s the old and better APSC, that we’re lacking today? I see more and more people leaving the club and the number keeps snowballing. Nothing hurts me more than to see me and my swim mates being torn apart, because they’re leaving the club, one by one.
Oh well, that’s all I have to write for now. Hope that things will get better in a few days.
Oh! And I wanna wish all those who returned to school today, all the best and study hard! Meet some new friends and hope it all goes well. :)
Bye for now!
